Are you hurting or struggling right now?
Has a relationship left you feeling confused, insecure, or unsettled?
Have you lost someone or something of great value?
Are you feeling stuck and yearning to experience a breakthrough in your life?
You don’t have to go it alone.
At Freedom Counseling Works, we help by joining you, where you are, on your journey. We assess your goals, your strengths, and your needs and we tailor our sessions to match those so that you can be successful.
A carpenter wouldn’t show up to remodel a home with only a hammer in his toolbox and we shouldn’t show up for life with only one way to cope with stress. Even though that may have worked very well for us for a long time, it may be time to shop for some new tools. (My husband impressed upon me the importance of having the right tool for the job. Not only does it allow you to do more professional work, it makes the job easier!) So whether your tool box is full or a little barren, we assess, and educate, when appropriate, on different tools and techniques that are available for making the journey easier. For clients that are comfortable with them, we will sometimes use assessments as they can be very helpful in increasing the efficacy of therapy.
We believe counseling is a collaborative effort.
At Freedom Counseling Works, we begin with your unique story and grow from there.
